Fall Break in Greece:
Thinking Abroad: Exploring Business Culture

Athens

Program Overview

This one-week program will explore the history, business environment and culture in Greece, one of the oldest economies in the world, and a hub for global transportation. Working with AUEB, students will participate in specialized lectures and interactive sessions with guest faculty, interact with local students, and apply on the ground learnings at various business-related site visits.  Topics may include the economy, international trade, innovation and entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, strategic leadership, and the tourism and shipping industries. Students will develop a personal career plan based upon their major areas of study and interest, and they will have daily reflective briefings.  Post-program, there will be a research-based project focused on a topic specific to the student’s area of study and will incorporate program learnings and academic and/or co-op experiences.
