The Students Union is the main entertainment venue on campus and is home to a range of facilities and support services. There is also a huge array of clubs and organizations to join, giving students plenty of opportunity to try something different and meet new people. Drexel students must select from this list of Early Leaver classes
. Most exams for the fall term take place in January, with the exception of the courses on this list.
Students are taught and graded by Aston faculty. In order to receive credit (CR) students must earn a "C" or above at the host institution. Grades are then indicated as "CR/NCR" on their Drexel transcript and will NOT affect their GPA. The goal is to take an appropriate number of courses to be a full time student at both ABS (30 ECTS credits) and Drexel (12 – 20 credits).
As Aston is a semester university, this exchange works best for students scheduled for class during fall term.

Tuition & Financial Aid
This is a Drexel sponsored program, thus your Drexel tuition and financial aid remain the same during the term abroad. Students may also want to submit a revised budget to Drexel Central to see if additional funding may be available.
Students who receive Federal Work Study should consider applying for the Study Abroad Online Journalist work study position (only available to students after acceptance).
Those interested in seeking additional funding should review Scholarship & Funding Opportunities. Remember that scholarship deadlines may be much earlier than study abroad deadlines, so plan accordingly.
For more information on these and many other scholarship opportunities, visit our Scholarships page.
Erasmus+ Grant: Additional funding for approximately $3000 will be available for Winter 2020 ONLY. This grant is a gift from the Erasmus+ organization to encourage mobility from Drexel students to attend Aston University. The grant is only for Winter 2020 and cannot be used another time.
The amount given is around $3,000 - this could change depending on the exchange rate, as the grant is given in Euros. It will also change depending on how many weeks the student is at Aston (arrival and departure dates). The purpose of this funding is to assist with living and travel costs.
Deadline to apply for the grant is same as the Aston University deadline - August 1, 2019.
